These cards were produced around 1890 by Ludwig Giergl in Vienna. The maker's name is on the Jack of Spades.

The court cards show a pattern that resembles many others used at that time by other makers in Vienna.

But actually the pack was presumably not sold by Giergl, as on the Ace of Hearts you can find besides an Austrian tax stamp used from 1882 to 1899 a company stamp of C. Titze & Schinkay, also from Vienna.
