This pack was printed in 1880 by Brepols & Dierckx Zoon, Turnhout, to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of Belgian independence.

On the Aces, it shows views from places in Belgium and Austria and battles from the Belgian war of independence as well as the Waterloo battle. The Kings and Queens are historical people and the Jacks soldiers from Belgium and Austria.

The back is the Belgian coat of arms with the motto 'L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE'.
