This pack was produced between 1875 and 1878 by Wolfgang Reuter in Darmstadt. The dating is so exact as there is a tax stamp from Bavaria used in that time on the Ace of Hearts (not shown).

It is a typical pack from Darmstadt from that time. Similar packs were also produced in Belgium, called 'Bongoût 11-B'.

Note that the two halves of the cards have a different colouring.
