The court cards were dedicated to the states successful against Napoleon (Clubs = Russia, Spades = England, Hearts = Prussia, Diamonds = Austria). They show a military leader, an allegory, and a soldier, respectively.
The pip cards are designed as transformation cards with motifs from different areas.
