As a tribute to the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam, the Vereinigte Stralsunder Spielkartenfabriken produced in their Altenburg factories the These cards were designed by Otto Pech. His artist's name (Pix) is on all court cards and aces. The maker's name is on the Seven of Hearts (which is not shown here).

The court cards and the aces represent Olympic disciplines. The backs show a design with the Olympic logo.
