This is a sheet printed most probably from a block made by J. Fridrich in Hildesheim, Germany, shortly before 1800. The maker's name is on the the King of Spades ('David'), it is top down. The sheet shown was actually printed later, most probably around 1900 or even later.
When you see the 'a Rouen' on the Jack of Clubs you might think that these were French cards, but several makers in Germany used this at that time, probably because cards from Rouen were regarded as good quality.
