This is part of a printing sheet made around 1820 by I. E. Krieger in Stuttgart. The name is on one of the Jacks.

The strange thing is that no playing-card maker with this name was known in Stuttgart at that time. There is only a bookbinder Johann Eberhard Krieger who's name fits. The name on the sheet looks as though inserted later into the printing block. So it is not known who originally designed these cards.
