This is a handmade pack from 1945 possibly from a POW camp. The maker's initials (EK) and the year are on the Queen of Diamonds. The backs show that cigarette boxes were used for the cards.

I think that the countries and regions shown are Germany/Europe, Africa, Spain and Japan. You will notice that the artist used stereotypes of his time, no 'political correctness' then.

This pack was in a wooden slipcase together with a second handmade pack showing costumes from different times.
