These cards were made around 1800 by Joachim Deetjen in Vegesack, now a district of Bremen. The maker's name is on the King of Diamonds.
The cards are typical cards with a double-faced variant of the Paris pattern in Germany. The names on the kings and queens are still present.
If you regard the two other cards with text on them (King of Spades and Jack of Diamonds) together with the King of Diamonds, the complete text is 'alle Sorten Karten verfertiget J. Deetjen', meaning 'all sorts of cards are made by J. Deetjen'.
In my pack the Jack of Clubs is missing. I have replaced it by a scan from an identical pack in my picture archives.
