These cards were produced c. 1880 by L. P. Holmblad, Kopenhagen. The name of the maker is on the Jack of Clubs.

Most probably, at that time Holmblad did no longer print his own cards but had them printed by other European makers. I think that this pack was made by J. Müller & Cie. in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. At the bottom of the page I am showing the Jack of Clubs from a pack by Müller. This is an edition from about the same time, and all the court cards are almost completely identical to the Danish ones. There is also an earlier very similar pack made in Sweden.
