In 1898 Thomas de la Rue, London, produced a card game related to Lewis Carroll's book 'Alice in Wonderland':

This pack is not really what I normally collect, but I am an aficionado of 'Alice in Wonderland', and I also like the book's relation to playing-cards. My favourite characters are the Cheshire Cat and the Dormouse. On the box you can read more about the pack. I am showing just four of the 16 three-card sets:
