This pack was produced c. 1880 by the Elsö Magyar Kártyagyár RT (First Hungarian Playing Card Factory) in Budapest. The maker's name is in the lower stamp on the Ace of Hearts, together with a Hungarian tax stamp.

The printing plates were originally made for E. Knepper & Comp. in Vienna as you can see on the Jack of Clubs.
