Playing-Card Sealing Bands from Hungary

You may find tax stamps from Hungary on the page stamps from Hungary.

Similar to the regulations in Austria, sealing bands ('Verschlussmarken') were used to seal the packs.

These three bands were used in Hungary from 1882.
The value of the left band is 15 kr. (Krajczár).
The value of the middle band is 30 kr. (Krajczár).
The value of the right band is 60 kr. (Krajczár).
I suspect that colours of the two bands on the right are not correct, they should be different.
(the two bands on the right scanned by Mariann Árpádné Csatlós)

These three bands were used in Hungary from 1886.
The value of the left band is 15 Krajczár.
The value of the middle band is 30 Krajczár.
The value of the right band is 60 Krajczár.
(the two bands on the right scanned by Mariann Árpádné Csatlós)

These three bands were used in Hungary from 1904.
The value of the left band is 30 Fillér.
The value of the middle band is 60 Fillér.
The value of the right band is 1K20f (1 Korona, 20 Fillér or 120 Fillér).
(right and left band scanned by Mariann Árpádné Csatlós)

These two bands were used in Hungary from 1920.
The left band is originally from 1904, it is overstamped with a value of 10 K (Korona).
The value of the right band is also 10 K (Korona).
(both bands scanned by Mariann Árpádné Csatlós)

These two bands were used in Hungary from 1923.
The left band is originally from 1920, it is overstamped with a value of 1000 K (Korona).
The value of the right band is also 1000 K (Korona).
(both bands scanned by Mariann Árpádné Csatlós)

These three bands were used in Hungary from 1925.
The left band is originally from 1923, it is overstamped with a value of 2000 K (Korona). I suspect that the colour should be the same green as on the band besides it.
The value of the middle band is 5000 K (Korona).
The right band is originally also from 1923, it is overstamped with a value of 20000 K (Korona).
(all bands scanned by Mariann Árpádné Csatlós)

These bands were used from 1926, they have a value of 40 f (Fillér) resp. 80 f (Fillér). The colour of the right band seems also to be wrong, it should possibly be reddish.

This band was in use from 1932, it has a value of 1 P (Pengö).
(scanned by Mariann Árpádné Csatlós)

These three bands were used in Hungary from 1937.
The left band has a value of Egy Pengö (1 Pengö).
The value of the middle band is Kettö Pengö (2 Pengö).
The value of the right band is Öt Pengö (5 Pengö).
(all bands scanned by Mariann Árpádné Csatlós)

These two bands are originally from 1937, they were overstamped in 1939.
The left stamp now has the value 2 P (2 Pengö instead of originally 1 Pengö)
The right stamp now has the value 5 P (5 Pengö instead of originally 2 Pengö)
(both bands scanned by Mariann Árpádné Csatlós)

This band was in use from 1943, the value is 1 Pengö. I suspect that the colour is wrong.
The band was used for washed cards ('Tisztított kártya').
(scanned by Mariann Árpádné Csatlós)

This is the previous band with an overprint of 2 Forint.
It was in use in 1946. Presumably the colour is wrong here, too.

The band on the left was in use in Hungary in 1946, and it had an additional sticker atop. Note that this is only the central part of the band, it is much longer. You can also see part of the wrapper with a stamp.
The sticker is shown on the right of the band.
